Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

There is plenty of methods to clean carpets and upholstery. Main one would be using of carpet extractor commonly called “carpet shampooing”, all depends on power of a pump and suction power of vacuum motor or motors, there are options of water heater or external inline heating, some of the machines are huge and permanently mounted in vans “truck mounts” having huge power give quick and deep wash and are extremely efficient. In good hands and used with good quality chemicals these machines are the best solution for most carpets. Another method of carpet and upholstery cleaning would be dry foam where foam is applied onto the carpet and agitated with bonnet pads which gather all dirt from the surface, chemicals used in this method have ability to encapsulate dirt and after agitation is over chemicals still work detaching dirt from fibres of carpet or upholstery. This dirt can be then vacuumed with ordinary vacuum cleaner. This method is not as thorough as using carpet extractor but it is very good for maintenance cleaning of high traffic areas in offices and can be done shortly before opening premisses to the public as it doesn’t require much drying time. Carpet steam cleaning is another method where we can use either carpet extractor with very efficient heating system, alot of providers claim that they can steam clean carpet but in reality it’s just steam coming out of wand but most of the time water is heated only to maximum of 65 degrees Celsius far from steam cleaning temperatures. We have one of the most powerfull portable machines on the market with the most advance and efficient inline heater so we can stand up for any carpet job without a problem. Steam cleaning with carpet extractor is really possible if a person is using truck mount with diesel heater or very efficient inline heater and one cleaning pass should be followed by 4 dry passes to ensure that inline heater will cope with keeping high temperature. Over the years we have seen allot of providers with good quality machines giving very low prices for carpet cleaning and results were very good apart from that they didn’t put attention to the fact that if water under certain pressure goes into the carpet it has to be extracted thoroughly unless carpets will stay over wetted and won’t dry in a long time or might even start to smell. What we worked out during years of carpet cleaning is that we prefer lower water pressure usually not above 60 psi (4 bar) as it is gently enough and thorough enough in the same time. Most of the time we use machine which is also agitating solution into the carpet and take out old hair and other bits with rotating brush and vacuum everything with powerful vacuum motor. We also steam cleaners which inject 160 degrees steam into the carpet or upholstery and vacuum dirt out. We also clean carpets with dry foam, usually in offices or as a quick maintenance cleaning. We have many photos of our work but it’s often hard to show before and after difference on a photograph so I’ve gathered some of more obvious pictures.
This is typical example of carpet cleaning after tenancy
This staircase had a thick layer of dirt but it’s not so visible on photos, typical 3 bed semi staircase cleaning and 3 bed duplex staircase carpet cleaning
This is carpet cleaning in a restaurant which we clean every 3 years. Grease is carried out from the kitchen by waiters carying food building up over time into thick layer
Carpet cleaning for new owners, in a house which was empty for few years, ovwergrow of dirt gathered in long period of time
Removal of typical ennoying stains from domestic carpets, we can use variety of chemicals, steam or high pressure, depending on type of stains.
Cleaning of long term stubborn dirt from upholstered armchair
We have few kinds of carpet and upholstery cleaning machines which are allowing us to take on wide spectrum of jobs with different level of complexity, access difficulties and to clean successfully many types of carpets and upholstery.
